PRACTICE

Jacobo Peris' advocacy style is based on the ability to integrate within the client's structure and provide quick responses at a reduced cost. This allows many companies to bring in a specialised legal angle and improve their company's standing.

He defends clients in court, acts as a trusted advisor on boards of directors and liaises on other legal matters using a network of senior collaborators covering economic criminal law, corporate law, bankruptcy, labour, building regulations, family law, patents and brands.

He lectures as Associate Professor on Commercial Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and on the Master's Degree in Shipping Business at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He is a member of the Spanish Maritime Law Association and the Maritime Law Division of Valencia's Bar Association.

He works with shipowners, shipping companies, consignees, terminal operators, stevedoring companies, logistics companies, storage providers, customs agents, traders, waste management operators and constructors.
